Cyber Awareness Program organized by the Azam Welfare and Educational Trust, in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Cell Azamgarh

On 12th February 2024, a cyber-awareness campaign was conducted at Hera Public School in Phadgudia, Azamgarh, within the jurisdiction of Phulpur police station. The initiative was organized by the Azam Welfare and Educational Trust, in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Cell Azamgarh. The aim of the program was to educate students, administrative staff, and teachers about cybercrimes and ways to safeguard against them.
More than 200 individuals, including students, administrative staff, and teachers, actively participated in the cyber awareness program. They were enlightened about various cybercrimes and provided essential information to enhance their awareness. The participants were urged to remain cautious and vigilant.
Shashi Chandra Chaudhary, SHO, Phulpur, Azamgarh along with the In-charge of Cyber Crime Cell Azamgarh, Mohd. Abu Saad, and Chief Constable Omprakash Jaiswal, delivered informative sessions to the students. They covered topics such as social media hacking on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, fraud through barcodes, protection measures against WhatsApp hacking, and safeguarding against fake websites. Precautions, including avoiding unknown links and maintaining vigilance on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, were emphasized.
The event was attended by Manager Saad Azam, Principal Abul Faiz, Vice Principal Shah Alam, Counselor Najaf Zaidi and other teachers, who actively engaged in the program. O.P. Jaiswal extended appreciation to Chairman Tarique Azam for his educational initiatives.
Following the presentations, an interactive session was organized, allowing students and teachers to address their queries and concerns regarding cyber fraud.
The program concluded with a renewed sense of awareness and readiness among the participants to combat cyber threats effectively.
